THE NO.1 OF REVOLUTIONARY ARMY?

We know that Sabo is the General Officer of the Revolutionary Army. He’s famous as No.2 of the Revo Army .

Now, in many Organizations the ranking order goes by numbers. The smaller the number, the higher the rank that member has. Baroque works had similar system ,where the agents were number given code names. (for eg., Mr.1, Mr.2 )
I dont think that Revo army gives number code names to their officers. But it is common practice to call the top officers of a Organisation by numbers. And that is the reason, Sabo is famous as NO.2. It certainly shows that he is one of the top officers of Revo Army, which is supported by the kind of strength he has shown.

But does being called as No.2 mean that Sabo is most powerful officer in charge after Monkey D Dragon.
I dont think so.
I think that Sabo is the 3rd ranked officer of Revo Army, with Dragon being the leader or better said the No.Zero. And there is another person/officer who is above Sabo & below Dragon. That unknown person might be the No.1 of Revo Army.
We have seen, Crocodile himself being the Mr.zero of Baroque Works. Since zero is the smallest whole number, it is safe to consider that Dragon might too be the No.zero of Revo army.

Similarly, Sabo has been compared to Ace, due various incients & facts like :
1.Ace fought with marine captain to save luffy & Sabo fought fujitora to save luffy.
2.Both theirs fight ended in a tie.
3.Ace was the 2nd division commander of WB pirates & Sabo is the No.2 of Revo Army.

Now, if we look the last point, we can consider Ace as No.2 of WB pirates. With Marco being the No.1 & WB the leader or No.zero.

Here’s the Hiearchy of 3 different Organizations.

Considering all above facts i think that there is an Officer who is above Sabo. Probably Sabo is under him because he is still in-experienced & still has a long way to go .And it would be too soon to reveal the person who is under the Dragon according to me, so we might have to wait for some period before it is revealed.

So who do you think is the No.1 of the Revo Army ??
Here are few of my possibilities.
1.former No.1 could be Kuma.
2.Ivankov seems to be working with Dragon ,since very beginning, but doesnt seem that strong to be No.1
3.If Aokiji is a Revo now, he can be the No.1 of Revo army.Since he does seems strong enought to hold that position.
4.Unknown person, who is still to be introduced.

THE ANIMALS OF THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY

The Revolutionary Army is comprised of many characters whom have an animal theme. Based upon this observation, I will explain who could join the army in future if they haven’t joined already, and also explain what to expect from some characters in future. This theory is purely speculation and is highly controversial in places as I know many people are divided on some of the matters I will write about below.

So far, we have been introduced to nine named members of the Revolutionary Army and we have seen two unnamed members of the Revolutionary Army who frequently appear around Dragon. There are also a grand total of eleven characters who may also join in future or already have joined over the course of the timeskip.

      Monkey D. Dragon:

      1

This is one of the more obvious cases. Monkey D. Dragon, unsurprisingly is Dragon themed. His character design features sharp, defined and bold facial features, giving him a dragon-esque appearance. His subordinate and most probable apprentice and student; Sabo fights using “claws” and has Dragon based attacks like “Dragons Breath”, and most likely learnt his fighting style from Dragon himself. Dragon’s ship is enveloped by two Chinese Dragons, one on either side, slicked down the sides of the boat and he draws many parallels to Chinese Dragons in a sense that he can most probably control the weather through unknown means, as seen in Loguetown and Grey Terminal.

      Terry Gilteo:

      2

We don’t know much about Terry, but he’s clearly Kangaroo themed based upon his head dress/hat thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a member of the Long-Leg tribe and/or a Kangaroo Zoan fruit user

      Bartholomew Kuma:

      3

Bartholomew Kuma is bear themed. Kuma translates into Bear, and Bartholomew Kuma has an appearance similar to one. He has Bear ears and an incredible bulk for a torso. He also stands at 6 meters + in height. Although that’s a huge exaggeration of a Bear’s height, some species of bear (in fact, most large species) can stand over 3 meters tall when on their hind legs. His height is another parallel. The greatest similarity of all though is obviously the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. This gave Kuma paws, like a Bear. Kuma’s face also parallels a Bears. His square skull draws similarity to a characteristic Bear snout (most commonly seen in Brown, Grizzly and Honey Bears).

      Emporio Ivankov:

      4

Possibly the hardest to parallel. Ivankov is themed on Cows. His tattoo has horns, like a Bull, and he is of gigantic proportions yet again. His chunky physique bares a slight, although weak parallel. Emporio’s transgender transformations and abilities can be seen as a representation for homosexuality, which is amusingly quite common in cattle.

      Inazuma:

      5

Inazuma is themed as a Lobster. Many would say a crab, but due to his fine-dining theme, and always drinking Wine, I would say a Lobster as a more luxuriant alternative to Crab meat. His scissors and ability represent the pincers of a Lobster, while his coat colours (Orange and White) are the colours of a cooked lobster.

      Sabo:

      6

Sabo, as previously explained is also based on a Dragon. He’s more of a European Dragon whilst Mr Monkey D. is an Oriental Dragon. As stated earlier, Sabo fights using Dragon based attacks. In Western culture, especially Middle-Aged Central Europe, Dragons were consistently described as having fire-breathing abilities and metallic, impenetrable scales (paralleling the pipe and powerful Busoshoku Haki).

      Bunny Joe:

      7

Like Terry, we know very little of him, except from his association with Robin and his high ranking position. He is obviously Rabbit themed based upon his name and fluffy hair. He may have a Rabbit Zoan fruit.

      Koala:

      8

She is obviously based on Koala bears. Not just due to name though: Koala’s are pacifists, and do a lot to avoid conflict or danger: Koala, as a child was incredibly submissive to Fishman demands, this portrays immense fear and avoidance of danger. Koala bears are also highly susceptible to learnt behaviours, which is exactly how she behaved during Jinbe’s flashback.

      Hack:

      9

Obviously, Hack is based upon fish. Due to his ability to use Fishman Karate and being a Fishman.

Now, it’s clear there’s an animal theme. Oda loves to use animal themes and has created many characters following such a theme. Including the original Shichibukai and the Admirals. There are 10 characters we have seen that I believe could join or rather, would join the Revolutionary Army. Namely, these are Kuzan, Crocodile, Bon Kurei, Lucci, Kaku, Khalifa, Blueno, Jyabura, Fukuro and Kumadori. It’s important to note that none of these characters have clear affiliations, although we do know they are all unaligned with the World Government.

      Kuzan:

      9

Aokiji, meaning Blue Pheasant, is evidently themed on Pheasants. The calming colour blue and his Ice powers from the Hie Hie no Mi also indicate a desire for pacifism and peace, this can be symbolised through birds that have traditionally been viewed this way in many cultures.

I believe Kuzan could join or has joined the Revolutionary army due to his defection from the Marines, although still believing in justice as he explained to Smoker. He acknowledges corruption within the World Government and it is possible he sees the best way to deal with it as a revolution. His association with the Blackbeard Pirates and the fact he can’t be trusted proves he is not a member, but simply working alongside them. The Revolutionary Army runs and operates underground, and does associate with Pirates (as seen with Kuma). Likewise, Kuzan is seemingly operating in the underground trade and as people know only rumours of his activities, including one of the worlds best connected people (Doflamingo), it’s clear he is sworn to secrecy and could easily already be a Revolutionary Commander of the same rank as Sabo.

      Crocodile:

      10

His name is a giveaway here. He is Crocodile themed. His association with sand through his Suna Suna no Mi can bring about the resemblance to Nile Crocodiles. Crocodile also had pet Bananadiles back in the Alabasta Arc.

Crocodile could easily have joined the Revolutionary Army with Daz bones. They lacked any affiliations after their defection from the Shichibukai and their escape from Impel Down. To boot, his deep ties with Ivankov, probably being an extensive influence on his past, as well as Crocodile’s grattitude to Luffy for helping to break him out of Impel Down leads me to believe Crocodile could have easily been coerced into a Commander position of the Revolutionary Army.

      Bon Kurei:

      11

Bon chan is based upon Swans. He dances and uses a lot of ballet based moves, due to the popular Ballet Dances to songs like ‘Swan Lake’, ballet is heavily linked to Swans and elegance. Bon also has a pair of swans on his shoulders.

He may have joined the revolutionary army to follow his idol, Ivankov. Although he’s still stuck in Impel Down right now as seen in his Cover Story page, he could well break out and join the revolutionaries. He also has deepest respect and great friendship between Luffy, and could use Dragon as a way to meet his friend once more. To further strengthen this, he may simply be loyal to Luffy and therefore loyal to Dragon.

CP9 members are animal themed, based upon appearance and Zoan fruits. The obvious ones are Rob Lucci and his Leopard Zoan, Khalifa and her Sheep based Awa Awa no Mi techniques, Jyabura and his Wolf Zoan, Kaku and his Giraffe Zoan. The remaining members, Kumadori, Blueno and Fukuro have similar appearances to Lions, Bison and Owls respectively, and even specialise in techniques based upon those animals, including hair control and Fukuro’s airborne fighting being his specialty. Nero, their newest recruit also happened to look like a Weasel, he even had an alias as ‘The Weasel’.

They have reason to join the Revolutionary Army as they became wanted after their failures in the Ennies Lobby arc. Thus, they defected. Being chased by the World Government as seen in their cover story, they could resort to taking down their enemies through allegiance to the World Governments bitter and most powerful enemy: the Revolutionary Army. The Revolutionary Army would also prove the ultimate form of protection, and would allow them to continue pursuing their form of justice against pirates. Their association and allegiance would result in Revolutionary Army soldiers not just knowing Fishman Karate, but also Rokushiki.

Conclusion: It’s likely that CP9, Crocodile (and co), and Kuzan are all members of the Revolutionary Army. It’s also highly likely that Bon Kurei will escape Impel Down somehow and join the Revolutionaries

COBY, THE ORANGE ADMIRAL: THE WILL OF THE ORANGE DEVIL FRUIT

Before you read I would like to say this is entirely my theory. Brace yourselves, this is a long one!

When we first saw the Mera Mera Fruit in chapter 700, I always thought that Coby would end up eating it. I made an almost irrevocable theory on this and I actually became quite passionate about this. The theory was widely accepted on other forums until Sabo turned up. This initially de-railed the theory, however, with some deeper research I believe it’s still probable for Coby to eat the Mera Mera no Mi at some point towards the end of the Manga. So here we go: I give you Coby, the Orange Admiral

As we know, Coby’s dream is to become an Admiral. Oda loves to use patterns within the Admirals. For instance, all of the pre-timeskip Admirals were Logia users and given Primary colours, Red, Yellow and Blue. The Admirals are given animals and colours in their codenames, Aokiji translates to “Blue Pheasant” Akainu translates to “Red Dog”, and Kizaru translates to “Yellow Monkey. However, since the timeskip, due to the reshuffle of positions (With Sakazuki’s promotion and Kuzans resignation), two new Admirals have been implemented. These Admirals have secondary colours that are a mix of primary colours. The secondary colours are Purple, Green and Orange. These Admirals also have colours and animals in their aliases: Whisteria (which is a shade of purple) Tiger translates to “Fujitora” and Green Bull translates to “Ryokugyu” and these Admirals probably have one of each type of fruit. We’ve seen the latter two already introduced. Leaving the third and Orange Admiral out. It is also important to note that Orange is a mix of Yellow (Kizaru) and Red (Akainu), keep this in mind because later on in the theory this becomes incredibly important. I cannot stress this enough.

        The story of Momotaro:
As is common knowledge amongst One Piece fans; Oda uses the story of Momotaro to parallel the Admirals and the order in which they are introduced. He uses their colours to indicate their Devil Fruit Powers. And he uses their Animals to indicate their personality. Within the story of Momotaro, he comes across a Pheasant (Aokiji – Blue Pheasant is introduced in chapter 303), next he comes across a Dog (Akainu – Red Dog is introduced in chapter 397), a Monkey (Kizaru – Yellow Monkey is introduced in chapter 504), then Momotaro, during the second phase of the story (paralleling the timeskip) befriends a Tiger (Fujitora – Whisteria Tiger is introduced in chapter 701) and later, a Bull (Ryokugyu – Green Bull is mentioned in chapter 711). The second phase also sees a the Monkey pick up and play with a Crab that later attacks it and harms it. The Dog goes to kill the Crab, and fails to, instead it can only throw the crab with its mouth and knock it unconscious, this crab (or another crab) comes back and attacks this dog during the final phases of the story of Momotaro. This Crab is Coby. The last secondary colour is Orange. Orange translates to Orekani, which like all the other Admiral names does roll of the tongue. Not only does the colour Orange and its creation through Yellow and Red symbolise events later in the story, but the scuffles between the Dog (Red), Monkey (Yellow) and the Crab (Orange) coincidentally allude to the same events. Again, this is incredibly important to this theory and will be recurring throughout.

As you know, I just mentioned how the Dog tried to kill the crab in Momotaro. This event has already been done, and will be repeated again later under different circumstances. That’s right. Coby and Sakazuki will fight.

        1

Here we witness a clear clash in morals and codes of justice. Whilst Sakazuki is shown to be an immoral and relentless character, Coby is most definitely the antithesis as such. Coby is even knocked out in the same manner that the Crab is. The Dog couldn’t kill the crab because of its shell, Shanks used his shell (Haki) to fight Akainu and his Logia powers. The symbolisms are a complete and utter irrefutable parallel. There is absolutely no way this is just a coincidence. Heck, even the Monkey (Borsalino) is on the same page. Wow!!!!!

Coby’s parallels with Garp and Sengoku:
Lots of people view Coby and Smoker as finite parallels to Garp and Sengoku. Personally I see both characters as a mix and match between the old generation, with features from both characters. Here I will only address Coby’s parallels.

Coby’s goal is to become an Admiral. This deviates from Garp as he does not care about rank. Since his goal is to basically become the Ultimate Marine, it can even be said that Coby will become the Fleet Admiral (possibly). Coby is also under the tutelage of Garp and has learnt to fight in a similar fashion, using Haki, Rokushiki and brute strength. However, because of his similarities with Sengoku and the Devil Fruit pattern within the Admirals, Coby will eat a Devil Fruit. Another parallel with Garp is his close relationship with Helmeppo, which is similar to Garps relationship with Bogard.

        2

The problem is, because Coby will rival and has rivalled Luffy ever since chapter 6, he’s still got a long way to go. He can still be oneshotted by Luffy. As seen in Marineford. This is where the Devil Fruit that will grant Coby the Orange powers comes in. It is the Mera Mera no Mi. A huge part of my theory is Sabo’s death after fighting and dying at the hands of Borsalino, the Monkey, during the meeting of the World Leaders during the Riverie Arc, it makes sense because the Revolutionaries will have the perfect opportunity to strike, with such a huge concentration of ‘corrupt’ World Leaders in one location. The fight between Sabo and the Monkey represents the clash between the Crab and Monkey in the story of Momotaro .

        Sabo’s death:
As previously mentioned, the Riverie arc has been foreshadowed by Jinbe, and is a meeting by which most World Leaders will meet. This is where Vivi met Dalton and Wapol previously. This is where the Strawhats and Revolutionaries will go, I have other theories I will post later about the Revolutionaries clashing with the Strawhats about wanting to protect these world leaders i.e. (Dalton etc. Vivi, Chaka, Igaram and Pell, The Dold family from Dressrosa, Neptune, Jinbe, Shirahoshi, Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, Manboshi), I also theorize this Arc will result in Jinbe joining the crew. But there will be two other major events happening during this arc.
        1. Sabo will fight Borsalino, the Admiral sent to protect the World Leaders. It will be a clash between Crab and Monkey, as well as The 2nd Admiral (After Sakazuki) and the 2nd Revolutionary (After Dragon). Sabo will die. But because the Orange fruit will live on and the will of Ace will live on, the parallels of Momotaro will not end here.

The Crab can be symbolised through Sabo as he has claws. He fights with claws, as a crab does with its pincers. Sabo will be capable of harming the Monkey as in the story of Momotaro, but will ultimately die.

        4

This is immensely significant as it will bring Luffy closer to his father, Dragon, and also poise him even moreso against the world Government, further alluding to the final arc that Oda has mentioned in interviews. The symbolism behind the death is also immense as it parallels Sabo’s earlier “death” at the hands of the World Government, but also will allow for the next major event (with further symbolisms and repercussions)

        2. Coby will also be there. Coby will inherit Aces will, which I will explain later. He will be the only fitting person that Luffy will approve of that can eat the Mera Mera no Mi as both rivals and immensely close friends. There is further symbolism as Coby will become the new ‘Firefist’. He will therefore draw links between Ace and the Marines, which will fulfil Garps desire (to an extent) to have his grandson (embodied in the fruit) as a powerful Marine. Coby as the new inherent of both Sabo’s will and Ace’s will, will see about three things. He will also inherit Garps will, which is equivalent to Aces will. Coby, the Crab, will fight the Dog (that killed Ace, a previous eater of the Mera Mera no Mi) and the Monkey (that killed Sabo, a previous eater of the Mera Mera no Mi). Garp also wished to kill Sakazuki, as seen here:

        6

Hence Coby also inherits Garps will to be a strong Marine and also to kill Sakazuki.

There will probably be a timeskip: between finding the One Piece and the Revolutionaries attack on the World Government. A big timeskip. This makes sense for a few reasons:

        1. Coby will be able to catch up to Luffy
        2. The Revolutionary army suffers a huge blow at the loss of Sabo, and will recuperate and become stronger as it clearly wasn’t strong enough to fight the World Government back on the Riverie Arc
        3. It makes more sense for the Pirate King to be at least in his 20’s or 30’s. Like it makes sense for Coby as a future Admiral, to be in his 20’s or 30’s.

Within this timeskip, we will see the following events occur:
-Smoker will replace Borsalino at some point, as Borsalino may quit the Marines. Due to his selfish nature he could quite easily get bored and leave, there is another reason that is explained below.
-This is, however, unfulfiling as Borsalino is left alive and the set of Admirals are Purple, Green and White. This does not complete a set of Secondary Colours. Due to the length of the Timeskip, the third generation ‘Firefist’ will develop in strength. Due to his rise in both popularity, fame and power, he will also become more aware of the worlds corruption. Still in pursuit of his dream, Coby will strive to become stronger. Now, he is the ‘Admiral Level’ Vice Admiral, paralleling Garp and being refused a promotion on two grounds.

        1. Sakazuki will have a disliking for Coby due to their previous encounter in Marineford. This parallels Admiral Kongs disliking for Garp, (Kong Later became the Fleet Admiral). Although Kong is less irrational than Sakazuki, hence he is more reasonable and it is Garp who refuses the promotion. This time it’s the other way around and Sakazuki refuses the promotion. This gives Coby a reason to fight Sakazuki.
        7
        2. The Relationship between Kong and Garp is just like Monkey and Crab. Kong means Monkey. Hence: the relationship between Borsalino will be very strained. This is what will cause Borsalino to quit the Marines. Coby will already have a resolve to fight the Monkey.
        3. So Coby will redeem himself by defeating the vagabond Monkey in a Pika Pika no Mi and Mera Mera no Mi round II. And he will fight and defeat the corrupt Sakazuki and again, defeat him in a Mera Mera no Mi vs Magu Magu no Mi round II
        8
A final parallel I forgot to mention between Garp and Coby, although slightly different:
Coby will refuse the promotion to replace Sakazuki and will remain an Admiral as he’s already achieved his goal, he will have more freedom and be able to more freely seek out Luffy, the Pirate King.
It is important to note that both Smoker’s Moku Moku no Mi and then Coby’s Mera Mera no Mi will maintain the Devil Fruit pattern within the second Generation of Admirals, having one of each type, a Logia, Paramecia and Zoan.

Because the Dragons will fight each other, this leaves the Admirals to fight the three main captains of the Worst Generation:
Luffy will fight Coby, and they will finally have their epic battle after Coby catches up. This is a fight between two characters introduced in the same saga.
Law will fight Fujitora, a battle between Swordsmen. Law and Fujtitora both play a crucial roll in the Dressrosa arc.
Leaving Ryokugyu, the Green and corrupt Admiral, versus the equally evil and corrupt Captain Kidd. Both of these characters will play crucial rolls in the same, later arc.
Luffy fighting Coby will be an incredibly emotional affair as Luffy and Coby go way back all the way to chapter 2 and Coby is using both of Luffy’s dead brother’s Devil Fruit. What. A. Fight. That. Will. Be.

        Conclusion
Sabo will die. Coby will eat the Mera Mera no Mi. Timeskip. Borsalino does a Kuzan and quits the Marines. Coby is refused position of Admiral. Coby kills Borsalino. Coby ousts Sakazuki. Coby becomes Admiral. Smoker becomes Fleet Admiral. Smoker will fight Dragon and Coby will fight Luffy during the Final War. Luffy and Coby will be fighting perhaps the most epic fight you will ever see, ever.

          Theory: CP0 will kill Doflamingo

Warning: Contains spoilers about Chapter 786!

          maxresdefault

First, we know Oda announced the Zou-Arc for September this year, which means, there are only about 13 Chapters left (including weeks without manga), so everything that will happen now will happen really fast!

We saw that Doflamingo ist still able to fight and Luffy needs at least 10 minutes to recover. Sabo, who will fight Burgess, is to busy to mess with Doflamingo. And, to be honest, all the former Colosseum-Fighters cannot keep Doflamingo for even two minutes busy. So how will Luffy beat him?

The answer is: he will not! There is one Group on Dressrosa which didn’t make it’s turn until now. And this is the CP0! They will attack and kill Doflamingo, but are not interested in fighting Luffy or Sabo.

So, why would a Governmental Organisation fight a Shichibukai? Doflamingo ist no ordinary Shichibukai, as a former Tenryuubitohe knows all the secrets of the World Government and ist one of the biggest threats for them. The reason to kill him so is clear. But still, the CP0 didn’t come Dressrosa to eliminate Doflamingo, but to keep Dressrosa in Peace. When trying to kill Doflamingo, they have to get direct orders from their Boss! The Den Den Mushis don’t work because of the Birdcage. So, the Leader of the CP0 must be present on Dressrosa!

And why are the CP0 Agents not interested in Luffy or Sabo? Let’s just say, they are not their first priority. Sabo will easy beat Burgess, or at least escape him, he will take Luffy and gets him out of Dressrosa. After the Death of Doflamingo, the Birdcage will collapse and the People will celebrate. But the Pirates (Law, Batholomeo, Robin, Usopp etc.) will escape as fast as they can. They will first meet again on the sea.

Dressrosa will become property of the World Government, either under Control of the royal family or with a new King.

AOKIJI KUZAN: VAGABOND OF TRUE JUSTICE Theory

            1

“A wandering vagabond or a man standing firm by his convictions? Its easy to tell the two apart.”

            2

Kuzan is a man who is standing firm by his convictions and he is executing his lazy justice as we speak. Before I say anything else, please know that Kuzan is NOT a revolutionary….yet. If he was then how do you explain this?

            3

Why tell Smoker to warn Sakazuki about Doflamingo? Kuzan has no reason to do that if he was a revolutionary, as that would make Sakazuki and the WG his enemy.

Kuzan is quite the mysterious man and after his defeat by Akainu for the position of Fleet Admiral, he resigned from the marines and disappeared. Its quite obvious however, that he is still perusing his own justice.

            4

That justice has apparently made him an acquaintance of Blackbeard.

            5

Simply put, Kuzan is a member of the Blackbeard Pirates.

In order to even find Blackbeard however, Kuzan had to get involved in the underground to find out his alias.

            6

But as you know, Kuzan isn’t exactly unknown. Everyone knows that he is a former admiral so no one would dare reveal any infortation to him, fearing for their own safety so how did Kuzan get the info exactly?

He forced the info out of people with pain and fear and completed dirty tasks for others.

            7

It isn’t unlike Kuzan to resort to such dark tactics and deeds. When he first meet the SH pirates, he tried to kill Nico Robin. He would’ve done it too if it weren’t for Luffy. He also tried to kill Luffy in Marineford.

Now then, we know that Kuzan is a member of the BB pirates by why did he show up on Punk Hazard in the first place?

            8

Kuzan was on a mission to capture Caesar Clown for Blackbeard. Blackbeard wants control of the SMILE production program.

Do you really think Blackbeard would let a former admiral just waltz into his crew without some proof of loyalty? In order to make sure that Kuzan is serious, Blackbeard ordered Kuzan to capture Caesar for him, but Caesar was already gone and on his way to Dressrosa.

Kuzan informed Blackbeard of the current situation but Blackbeard was still confident, as word in the underground said that Doflamingo is hosting a tournament and the winner gets the Mera Mera no mi. With this, Kuzan was teamed with Jesus Burgess. Kuzan’s mission was to once again capture Caesar and Burgess’ mission was to get the Mera and steal all of the SMILES in Dressrosa.

Burgess is halfway done with his mission.

            9

In that bag are all the SMILES Burgess stole from the factory.

Kuzan however will once again fail in his mission but this time, it will be intentionally. The Sunny Team is currently being chased by the Big Mam pirates and Kuzan will secretly help them escape by freezing the waters and stopping Big Mam’s ship in its tracks. For Kuzan, Caesar being in the hands of the SHs is better than Big Mam or Blackbeard.

After that is done, Kuzan will save Jeusu Burgess and they will make their way back

            10

Kuzan may or may not have a confrontation with Sabo.

The big question is why is Kuzan getting involved with Blackbeard in the first place? Kuzan wants to investigate the secret of Blackbeard eating two devil fruits and how he is executing his devil fruit hunt.

Kuzan’s questions will be answered in the Kaidou arc when Blackbeard kills Kaidou and transfers his devil fruit to Stronger(Doc Q’s horse). It will also be in this arc where Kuzan learns that the WG were trading weapons with Kaidou and Kuzan will lose all motivation to help the WG in any way.

After the Kaidou arc, Kuzan will once again disappear, resurfacing during the World Government Takeover.

Kuzan was asked by Dragon years ago to joined the revolutionaries but he declined, believing the a rebellion was too extreme and thought he could change the WG from the inside. However, not only does Kuzan no longer have any pull with the WG, he believes a takeover is going to far and that justice will never be realized if the current WG exist. He will join the revolutionaries and the info he has gained about Blackbeard will be quite helpful.

            11

In the center of the WG takeover will be the SH pirates and Kuzan will save them from Akainu’s meteor volcano by freezing mid air. He will reveal himself as a new revolutionary with other revs backing him, holding off Akainu’s fleet while the SHs make it to Dragon.

              ELEMENTAL HAKI THEORY

              Immagine

I have a feeling that Elemental Haki might be a thing in the One Piece World. I noticed that certain characters have moves or attacks that include elements but can’t really explain how they use them.

Sanji- his fire kicks dont burn him at all (has yet to go against a logia to show if his kicks would hit or not.)

Zoro- his attack with the swords to create a tornado using wind (he only went against Monet and we saw how that ended)

Luffy- he used a red hawk under water and that dind burn him at all, also what the hell was the snake shot?

Fishmen- could fishmen karate be water haki? (hence why Koala can use it)

Sabo- Sabo use that DragonBreath attack during the Colosseum battle and split the arena with what appear to be wind?

Eustass Kid crewmate- during saboady he used a technic to breath fire

Whitebeard allies-During marine ford there was a guy with electricity on his sword.

Vista- could Vista possibly have earth Haki which would or could be nature like and that would explain the flowers?

Kinemo- this guy cuts fire like its normal.

Brook- his ice abilities seem random to me maybe ice Haki?

Fossa (WB pirate)-was using fire on his sword

Hannyable was able to light the ends of his staff with fire

Those are just some of the samples I could find. If I miss any please comment below and let me know!

Devil Fruits & Inherited Will Theory

(you can send your theory about  everything related to OnePiece via email at [email protected])

Theory: Devil Fruits have individual wills and personalities which affect their owners.

                1
The Devil Made Me Do It In Enies Lobby, as Kaku and Kalifa are about to receive their devil fruits, Jyabura explains that devil fruits work because they contain demons; Lucci tells him he’s full of it, the viewer laughs, and we come away with an understanding that people cannot eat two devil fruits, but no reason why. What if Jyabura wasn’t all wrong? A number of small details come together to act as evidence that devil fruits have personalities and wills which subtly (or sometimes not subtly) affect the personalities of those who eat them.
This is a difficult theory to find evidence for, for two reasons: first, because there are few instances where we see characters both before and after they eat devil fruits; second, because Oda’s storytelling style often gives characters powers which match their personality anyway (for example, is Van Der Decken a creepy stalker who has a thematically appropriate fruit, or does the fruit make him a creepy stalker? Does Corazon/Rocinante prefer not to talk because he has a silence fruit, or did Oda give a silence fruit because he doesn’t like to talk?

However, enough evidence exists that I believe this theory has a strong chance of being right. Moreover, the possible consequences are extremely far-reaching, an exciting trait in any theory, and enough to make this worth considering.
                Ch-ch-ch-changes
We see, through the story, only a handful of characters before and after eating their fruits. Most of those characters we first see as children, before their personalities are fully developed, or hiding their true personalities. Here is a list of those characters: (EDIT: I’m aware I missed several. My bad.)
                * Luffy (half a chapter as a kid) * Buggy (a very brief flashback) * Kaku and Kalifa (pretending to be Galley-La workers, followed by stealthily attempting to assassinate Icerberg) * Blackbeard (one short flashback, pretending to be Whitebeard’s family, before he ate the Darkness fruit; two short scenes and a few dialogues after eating the Quake fruit)
                * Ace (one arc as a kid) *Sabo (one arc as a kid, followed by a few chapters as “Lucy”
                * Momonosuke (one short flashback)
                * It’s possible that there are other characters we see before they eat their fruits, but it is unknown (we don’t know for certain whether, say, Whitebeard had his fruit in his various flashbacks, or when Doflamingo ate his).

Of these, the most interesting are the CP9 agents, Kaku and Kalifa. Kalifa’s personality is extremely hard to read while she is Iceberg’s secretary. However, from that section, her break-in in the Galley La office, and her brief actions on the Sea Train, it’s clear she’s extremely decisive and powerful, quite willing to get her hands dirty, and talented with a unique thorn whip. However, after eating her devil fruit, her fights with Sanji and Nami are absurd and comical. She never wields her whip, she uses almost no Rokushiki moves, and she relies primarily on her gimmicky devil fruit rather than simply kicking them both to death. Her personality changes drastically after eating her devil fruit (and not for the better). She goes from deadly assassin to dumb blonde. Similarly, Kaku becomes far sillier, more focused on arguing with Jyabura than on defeating his foes, compared to the efficient assassin we saw in Water 7 (or the friendly parkourer he was pretending to be).

Of the others, it is difficult to draw conclusions from so little data; once we see more of Sabo, and post-timeskip Blackbeard, the effects of the Mera Mera and Gura Gura fruits may become more obvious, but there is simply too little pre-fruit from the others to draw effective comparisons (but see below for more on Ace, Blackbeard, and Momonosuke). However, looking at Luffy reveals something very interesting. In Chapter 1, he first tells Shanks “I want to be a pirate.” Just that, just a pirate. However, after eating the Gum Gum fruit (and after being rescued from the mountain bandits and various other important pieces of character development), he tells him, “I am going to become king of the pirates.” This phrase is later described as being “just like what Roger said”. There is heavy speculation on this forum about whether Roger had a devil fruit at all, as well as whether he had the Gum Gum fruit specifically, but if the theory of Devil Fruit Wills is correct, an inherited fruit may well explain the strange connection between these two.
                You Are What You Eat
The description of Blackbeard’s Yami Yami fruit is unique: it is the “most evil” of the devil fruits. That’s a very odd description; abilities are morally neutral. When Blackbeard described his fruit as “evil”, it could only be with an awareness of something inherently evil within the fruit, perhaps a personality that had begun to overtake him. This is not to say that Blackbeard was ever a saint: he killed a nakama to get the fruit in the first place (albeit after some hesitation). However, it suggests that he has been made more evil by the fruit, perhaps against his will. Because of his god-killing D nature, this theory predicts that Blackbeard’s story will end with him overcoming his devil fruit and allowing Luffy to defeat him.
Inversely, everyone who has known Ace has been surprised that he had no interest in leading. After setting out on his own and reluctantly joining Whitebeard, he eventually accepts Whitebeard as his father and has no interest in becoming the pirate king himself, even as Whitebeard was (according to the marines) grooming him to take on the mantle. Everyone seems surprised that with all his power, he refuses to lead. However, Ace’s childhood dream was never to become pirate king, it was to get out from under his father’s shadow. Having achieved that, and having found a new father figure, Ace is able to resist the destructive power of the Mera Mera fruit (which he used for years before joining Whitebeard, gaining a reputation for razing villages and sinking battleships) with his own willpower (and perhaps his will of the D). It remains to be seen how Sabo will respond to him.
                Natural And Artificial Flavoring
Thus far, I have done a great deal of speculation and theorizing based on character personalities which could honestly be explained by normal character development; no one has wondered why Luffy is ambitious or why Blackbeard is evil, it fits well within their characters. However, this setup was necessary to compare with an area that the series has only begun to explore: Vegapunk’s experiments on devil fruits.
There are exactly three cases where we know for a fact that eating a devil fruit imparted a personality: Mr. 4’s Dog Gun, Spandam’s Elephant Sword Funk Freed, and Smiley the adorably terrifying poison salamander. Before eating devil fruits, they were inanimate objects; after eating devil fruits, they gained autonomy and personality. These are very minor characters, but the fact that their existence is even possible should make us suspect that devil fruits are more than just powers: there’s something inside them that changes how their eaters act. Even if it is merely the animal spirit of the Zoan, these fruits impart something on their eaters which has will.
In contrast, the Pacifistas, whose laser powers were derived from Kizaru’s devil fruit, have no will at all; they are simply automatons which follow orders and enact rote programming. Vegapunk can give objects sentience with devil fruits, but their devil fruit power not give them will because it is artificial. This is why Vegapunk’s efforts to create artificial devil fruits are considered “failures”, even though Momonosuke’s dragon fruit appears to be quite effective, and the results are good enough for Kaido to desire enough to feed an army: these devil fruits are incomplete because they have no will. They were created in a lab, so there is no will to inherit.
                Will I Am
This brings up the most important consequence of this theory: its interaction with Inherited Will. Inherited will is a key concept in One Piece (and the basis for what is probably the most popular theory on this board), and this theory falls perfectly in line with it. A devil fruit user, in this theory, gains some of their willpower from the fruit that they eat, and perhaps in turn imparts their desires back into the fruit. When it reincarnates, the next user inherits that will. Luffy inherited Roger’s hat and middle initial, and if Roger wielded Gum Gum powers, Luffy also inherited his will through the fruit. For Sabo, it was essential that he eat the Mera Mera fruit to inherit Ace’s will. And Blackbeard, perhaps unknowingly, has inherited evil desires from whoever last held the Yami Yami.
                Back to the Future
If this theory is correct, it raises many questions, and casts some older questions in a new light:
                * Where do fruits originally come from? Where do the fruits gain their wills?
                * How long have these wills been manifest? Is there a connection to the ancient civilization of the Poneglyphs?
                * Is the will inherited through fruits connected to the will inherited through the D?
                * How many people know about this? Vegapunk and the World Government very likely, perhaps also some Celestial Dragons?
If Doflamingo knows, is the will of the Ope Ope fruit essential to accessing the great treasure of Mariejois?
                * What are the psychological effects of eating two fruits? How will the Gura Gura fruit affect Blackbeard’s will?
                * What is the connection to the ocean? Does the sea hate the will of devil fruits, rather than their power?
                tl;dr
One Piece is a very complex story about a very complex world. Oda is known to foreshadow key plot points decades in advance, and he has been thinking about devil fruits since the very beginning. I believe they are more than just magical power mcguffins: I believe devil fruits have their own personalities and wills which they impart on those who eat them.
